Lakewood Foothills Rotary Club is seeking nominations for the prestigious Scott Metcalf Award. Any club project established within Rotary International Areas of Focus and initiated during the current Rotary year is eligible for the award. The project will be judged solely by the information presented.

Use this form to make your nomination.

A complete description of the club project must be submitted to Lakewood Foothills Rotary by the District deadline of May 1, and all projects are to be displayed at the District Conference. The projects will be judged by a panel of three Past Presidents of Lakewood Foothills Rotary Club. (Lakewood Foothills is not eligible.)

The Scott Metcalf Award was established by the Lakewood Foothills Club originally to recognize the outstanding club project for the year. It honors the memory of Scott Metcalf, Sr., Past District Governor of District 5450 and former member of the Lakewood Foothills Club who best depicted Rotary’s motto “Service Above Self”.

The award was redefined in 1989 to recognize the best club project initiated during the current Rotary year. The award is a traveling trophy and an individual plaque. If you know of a project that exemplifies the spirit of Rotary, please complete the enclosed form and return it no later than February 25th.

This year’s award will be presented at a meeting of the winning club. Thank you for your attention and for your willingness to submit your nomination for this award!
