Mar 18, 2025 11:30 AM

Bridging Over's mission to provide at risk unhoused families and individuals with essential items to improve their safety and health started as the passion project of one man. When Randy arrived in Colorado by bus from Wisconsin, he found himself unhoused and needed help. Luckily, through the charity of several local organizaations, he was able to find his way into a home and a good job. This major life event left Randy with the undeniable feeling that he had to do something to help Bridge the Gap that divides the housed and unhoused.

Jeffco Open Space

May 13, 2025 5:30 PM

Jeffco Open Space was founded as a land conservation organization in 1972 by PLAN Jeffco and The League of Women Voters of Jefferson County. These organizations proposed a unique concept to the Board of County Commissioners to preserve the scenic vistas and open lands within the county using the collection of one-half of one percent tax on sales in Jefferson County to fund the program. The voters agreed, thereby ensuring perpetual land conservation, stewardship of open space and parklands, and access for public enjoyment.

Do you support safety in our schools and community?

Your heart hurts every time you hear about a school or community shooting. You know how high the suicide rates are in Colorado and know people who have suffered from mental health challenges. You want to help fix it.

We feel the same and we know that so much can be prevented with comprehensive training and resources. We know lives can be saved and communities can avoid trauma through our work.

Our mission is to teach proper response and past lessons learned to help prevent and avoid these traumas. Helping to create more beautiful futures for our children and every person living in our community.

We know that a community centered approach is most effective, enabling everyone to take action to create the positive environment we all want to live in. We’ve served more than 200,000 people, with raving reviews after every training! We bring together the most qualified subject matter experts and ensure that safety belongs to everyone!
