Demonstrating Service Above Self in Lakewood, Colorado since 1967

The Lakewood Foothills Rotary Club sincerely appreciates the time and effort expended by numerous speakers to inform our club members about a wide range of subjects.  We would like to specifically thank the speakers who have informed us in the current Rotary International Year from July 2014 to June 2015:

Can one person make a difference?

Joan Ganz Cooney along with Lloyd Morrisett had a radical idea: kids might actually be able to learn something by watching television! Although the concept was given little chance of success in 1969, it’s advertisers included the Numbers 3 and 7 and the Letter "R" and featured the biggest bird Muppet on TV.

So - Do you know the way to Sesame Street?
